Central Road (as it is the official name of E65 Highway) has a 175 km length and starts just before the entrance of Lamia City (in Central Greece) in the center of Maliakos Gulf. It has a Northwest direction and its alignment is going to pass through Domokos, Karditsa, Trikala and Kalampaka, connecting to Egnatia Road near Grevena City.
- Preliminary and Final Design of the Section between Ch. 0+000 and 61+000 (section between Lamia City and Anavra Interchange).
- Preliminary and Final Design of the Section between Ch. 144+000 and 149+000, 156+000 and 170+000 (Section Trikala - Kalampaka - Panagia Interchange)
- Preliminary and Final Designof the Final Section of E65 alignment as also of Panagia Interchange, where E65 will be connected to Egnatia Road.
In particular, the above mentioned studies include:
- Drainage Design of the Highway pavement (water collection inlets, drainage pipes, water collection pipes, central median channel, shallow ditches, rocktrap ditches etc.)
- Culverts and External Ditches Design
- Rehabilitation of the existing irrigation network (Agios Dimitrios Area, Section from Ch. 144+000 to 149+000).
- Stream Regulations - Delimitations - Diversions (such as the diversion of Ion River near Kalampaka, Diavolorema River etc.)
